Psychedelic Assisted Therapy

Medical Psilocybin Act

We are excited to expand our services to include Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PAT). The “Medical Psilocybin Act” was signed into law on April 7, 2025, making New Mexico the third state in the U.S. to legalize a regulated, medical-use psilocybin program. The Act authorizes treatment for patients with specific conditions, including treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and end-of-life care and is expected to be implemented by December 31, 2027, or potentially sooner, by the end of 2026.

What's Next?

Andrea recently completed a 200 hour Psychedelic Assisted Therapy certification at Naropa University. While we are waiting for full implementation of the law in New Mexico, we are able to offer preparation and integration services for those using psychedelics for therapeutic purposes. Preparation and integration (as well as set, setting and dose) can be critical if you are using these powerful substances to access greater healing and growth. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more.

The Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice—
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug at your ankles.

“Mend my life!” each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy was terrible.
It was already late enough,
and a wild night,
and the road full
of fallen branches and stones.

But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do—
determined to save
the only life you could save.
