Drawing from neurobiology, complementary alternative medicine and numerous scientific specialties, Mindful Psychiatry provides an integrated mind-body treatment plan that is tailored to each individual.
This integrative and holistic approach to mental health recognizes the connection between the mind and body. In addition to psychotherapy, care may include recommendations for psychiatric medications, dietary changes, movement, EMDR and trauma-based treatments, cognitive and behavioral strategies and mindfulness. You will be provided with a careful review of evidence-based treatment options based on current neuroscience research. Every decision about treatment will be made together with intention and compassion.
