I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for help can be a difficult step, and I commend you for taking it. When traditional methods of addressing your concerns no longer seem effective, it’s time to explore new approaches. Stress, anger, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression can all create obstacles in our lives—affecting our relationships, work, self-perception, and overall well-being.
At Mindful Psychiatry New Mexico, we offer a more comprehensive, holistic approach to mental health, blending mindfulness-based psychotherapy with behavioral pharmacology. This integrative model supports people in living more fully and being present in each moment, fostering a greater sense of self-acceptance and mental well-being.
Our approach draws from neurobiology, complementary medicine, and evidence-based scientific research to provide a mind-body treatment plan tailored to each individual. We recognize the profound connection between mind and body and understand that mental health requires a multifaceted approach.
In addition to psychotherapy, your care may include recommendations for psychiatric medications, dietary changes, movement practices, EMDR, trauma-based therapies, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and mindfulness practices. Every treatment decision is made with intention, compassion, and a careful review of current neuroscience and evidence-based practices.
